First Year Sacrament of Preparation
Sessions on Tuesday from 4:45 to 6 p.m.
Include those children and teenagers that are going to receive the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Sacrament of Eucharist. Children and teenagers that have not been baptized and are 7 years of age or older will prepare for the gift of the Sacraments of Initiation which include; Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
The children and teenagers will start their relationship with Jesus Christ to know him and love him.
Through reading and listening to the passages in the Holy Bible, learn their prayers, which are the Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, and the Glory Be, and at towards the end of the year the 10 Commandments and the Beatitudes. More importantly, you parents are the primary educators of their faith will go as a family to Celebrate the Eucharist during Mass, which is the center of our faith.
Second Year Sacrament of Preparation
Sessions on Wednesday from 4:45 to 6 p.m.
Children and teenagers that are going to receive the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will learn how wonderful the gift is by forgiving one another as Jesus Christ has taught us. His Mercy is endless and full of His eternal Love. After receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation they will prepare to receive the gift of the Sacrament of Eucharist. By going to mass they observe,
listen, and learn the different parts of the mass and how we the Body of Christ demonstrate our love towards Jesus Christ when receiving Him at the Altar.
RCIA_AC- Rite of Christian Initiation Adapted for Children (and Teenagers)
The children and teenagers that will receive the Sacrament of Baptism, Sacrament of Eucharist, and the Sacrament of Confirmation will prepare for the all the Rites. Once they receive the Rites then they will receive all three Sacraments at the Celebration of the Eucharist (Mass).
