Ministries - Liturgy - Eucharistic Ministers

The Eucharist constitutes the very life of the Church, for the Lord said, ‘I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me shall ever be hungry; no one who believes in me shall ever thirst.” John 6:35

Your willingness to serve as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, reflects not only a response to your Baptismal call to serve the people of God, but a commitment to Christ as you share in the preaching, teaching and leading aspects of the church. You offer the Eucharist, recognize the Body of Christ in those to whom you offer Eucharist and ultimately you act as the Body of Christ by fully participating in the life of the parish and the wider community. Your willingness to commit to a monthly schedule, to prepare properly for your service and to arrive on time dressed appropriately for your assigned Mass, further reflects that commitment.

Eucharist Ministers also minister to those who cannot attend mass with home visits, hospital and convalescent home visits.

The Legion of Mary meets every Wednesday morning at 9am in the Parish Library for prayer, planning and discussion. We participate in specific work each week in pairs and under the guidance of a spiritual director. We learn more about our Catholic Faith, deepen our prayer life, develop close Catholic friendships, grow closer to Jesus and His Mother and put our faith into action. We would like to invite anyone who has a heart for the Legion of Mary to please join us. You are welcome to sit in at our meeting and see if this is where God and His Mother is calling you. You can contact us by calling Carol Whitten 760-305-7905 or Kathy Stratton 760-536-3707 or Esther Lopez 760-724-8907. Our Lady is calling on you! She said “YES”
