Ministries - Sack Lunch
The Sack Lunch Ministry's "Operation: Feed My Sheep" distribution this Sunday (July 24/25) has been canceled because all the food supplies have been given out. Thank you to all who participated in this ministry.

Sack Lunch Ministry is temporarily closed due to the pandemic. We hope to start up again soon.

Sack Lunch Ministry provides healthy sack lunches SIX days a week to the hungry in the Vista community. Each sack lunch consists of a healthy sandwich, drink, fresh fruit, and at least two snacks.

WHO CAN HELP: Anyone with a giving heart.
WHO CAN RECEIVE: Anyone who is hungry or in need. One lunch per person per day.
Meetings and time commitment:
1) DISTRIBUTION days and times, Hospitality Center.
Monday-Saturday 8:45-10:00am and Sundays 7:00-9:00am
2) SANDWICH ASSEMBLY: Mondays and Thursdays 8:45am-9:15am in the parish kitchen
All are welcome. Just show up. You must be healthy.
3) For those unable to distribute or assemble lunches, you can donate money, non-perishable snacks (individual granola bars, crackers), canned meats (that don't require a can opener, i.e. Vienna sausages, tuna), juice boxes, or water. Drop off donations during Distribution days and times at the Hospitality Center, during Assembly days in the parish kitchen, or at the parish office during office hours.
4) OTHER DUTIES: Drivers and shoppers are needed to buy supplies from the food banks. Fruit washers and egg boilers are needed. Time is flexible. Check for additional duties online.
