Prayer to Saint Joseph:

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
To you God entrusted his only Son;
in you Mary placed her trust;
with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,
show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life.
Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,and defend us from every evil.
Amen.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM

LORD, LET YOUR FACE SHINE UPON US.

Profession of Faith

I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
and by the Holy Spirit (please bow) was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day,
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the Prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.  Amen.

The Lord Is My Hope

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.
When shadow confuses my vision,
when sorrow lays claim to my heart,
God is my refuge, my rock and my shield.
I will rely on the Lord.

  1. Near to death, I cried, “Save me!”
    and you heard.
    You are God, and you
    lift up the poor.

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.
When shadow confuses my vision,
when sorrow lays claim to my heart,
God is my refuge, my rock and my shield.
I will rely on the Lord.

  1. Kingdoms fall; nations tremble
    at your pow’r.
    None can stand without
    you at their side.

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.
When shadow confuses my vision,
when sorrow lays claim to my heart,

I will rely on the Lord.

  1. Justice reigns, and the wicked
    are cast down.
    In your love is our
    safety and strength.

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.

I will rely on the Lord.

  1. All who trust in your promise
    will be saved,
    for your word has been
    tested in fire.

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.
When shadow confuses my vision,

  1. Morning comes: I will praise you
    with my life,
    ever faithful and
    true to your word.

Refrain
The Lord is my hope and my glory.
The Lord is the song that I sing:
so tender and loving a shepherd,
so rooted in justice, a king.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

Communion / Sending Forth

The Supper of the Lord

Refrain
Precious body, precious blood,
seen as bread and wine;
here the Lord prepares the feast divine.
Bread of love is broken now,
cup of life is poured:

    coming down from heav’n,
    giving life to us,
    to all the world.

seen as bread and wine;
here the Lord prepares the feast divine.
Bread of love is broken now,

    of eternal life;
    you that drink from me
    shall not thirst again.”

    giving life to you;
    you that eat this bread
    shall never die.”

    have their life in me,
    as I have my life
    in the living God.”

    present in this feast;
    in this bread, we share
    in one life, one Lord.
